Cradock spa 3rd Dec 2010. The last rally of the year. We decided we are gonna bike up all kit on one shot, a tight fit it was. The two of us and the weekends kit 0n Merlin, thank goodness for friends with a bed , would have been a tall order with tents and all.. Stopped for a smoke break on Carlisle bridge over the fish river it was needed.
The lion Rally is always a good one to end the year with. The pools came in very handy as it was extremely hot.. even the heat had us do all the game in the pool . tug of war and tyre throw in the drink, was a good and different twist. The stalls were good and food stalls great. the live band played magic tunes enjoyed by all.
Closer to home the Old Order started a new prospect ( David Watling) and a good Ceremony for Stanley Roelofse who finally got his full colours.
Still to come the Great fish Rally it is gonna be a good one on the banks of the Fish river mouth . camping with the sound of waves breaking in the distance.
